I cannot recommend Exterior Designs, Inc. highly enough! I can say they have transformed our property into one of the true showcases of our neighborhood.

They have an incredible attention to detail and meticulous approach to every aspect of yard care. They don't just mow and go – they truly care for our landscape as if it were their own.

The quality of their work is simply outstanding. Every edge is perfectly trimmed, flower bed is immaculately maintained, and our lawn looks like something you'd see in a magazine.

Their consistency is remarkable – week after week, month after month, they deliver the same high standard of excellence. They pay attention to seasonal needs, suggest improvements, and always leave our property looking absolutely pristine.

If you're looking for a yard maintenance company that takes genuine pride in their work and will make your property the envy of the neighborhood, look no further than Beverly, Dale, and the entire team at Exterior Designs, Inc. They have exceeded our expectations in every way possible.

Highly recommended!

My wife and I recently had Beverly Katz with Exterior Designs and her Professionally Experienced Crew Landscape, reclaim, refurbished and corrected several troubles spots in our garden areas around our home. She spent the time meeting with us and understanding our needs as well as providing her professional skills and knowledge. The Crew showed up on time and completed the project as expected, as well as cleaning up and removing any debris. My wife and I were very pleased and recommend Exterior Design.

After much research on landscape architects, I hired Beverly to convert my entire small Metairie backyard into a French Quarter courtyard. Architecture is my background and I had a definite design concept in mind. However, I did not have the knowledge of the plants and other aspects that should go into this unique type of setting. Beverly worked very closely with me and my initial ideas and ultimately came up with an amazing representation of the real French Quater patios that I admired my entire life. Further, and another key reason that I chose her, was her amazing team of subs that were able to do EVERYTHING needed to install the job-masonry, general construction, irrigation, landscape lighting, subsurface drainage, plant sources and landscape installers. This was critical for me as I wanted a true "turnkey" job. In addition, we had a very intricate large brick water fountain that was the key element in the total design and had to be constructed from scratch. Due to the soft soils in much of Jefferson Parish, we had to drive four 65' helical piles to support the weight of the entire unit. Her contractor amazingly had the special pile driving machine needed and did all of this work himself. Finally, I must give high accolades to her mason/stone paver sub. I did not want any grass but only pavers similar to those used in the FQ. His installation work was nothing short of spectacular and along with the fountain is the key aspect to the overall design. Beverly was involved every step of the way and always wanted to make sure that I was pleased with the design and installation. I truly feel that I'm living in the FQ!! In conclusion, I can't speak highly enough of Beverly and strongly recommend her for any landscape design and installation work that you may ever need.

Finding a reliable and high-quality exterior design service felt like a bit of a treasure hunt for me. After a few disappointments with other companies, I was pretty skeptical about finding someone who could truly meet my expectations and collaborate on a project that’s deeply personal to my family and me. Then I came across Beverly Katz and her fantastic, women-led team at Exterior Designs Inc. in New Orleans, and they completely changed my perspective.

From the very beginning, they went above and beyond. They didn’t just offer a generic plan; they took the time to thoroughly analyze my property and develop recommendations tailored to its unique characteristics.

Their attention to detail was impressive. They addressed issues like uneven ground and areas where plants wouldn’t thrive with practical, stylish, and sustainable solutions. Their use of cutting-edge landscape architecture techniques, combined with a deep respect for the living heritage of New Orleans, really stood out.

Beverly’s team’s expertise went beyond just aesthetics. They set up an irrigation system that took care of every plant’s needs, ensuring everything bloomed beautifully. They even continue to follow up, treating their work with an awareness of the ongoing nature of ecological design. It was clear that their commitment wasn’t just about looks; they genuinely cared about creating a thriving landscape.

What really impressed me was their efficiency. They stuck to deadlines and were always prepared for weather-related challenges. Their proactive approach and attention to detail kept everything on track—something I had struggled with in the past with other contractors in the field.

In a city as rich in cultural and architectural heritage as New Orleans, this team stands out not just for the quality of their work but for their genuine dedication to their clients. If you’re looking for a blend of reliability, quality, and creativity, Beverly Katz and her team at Exterior Designs Inc. are definitely worth considering. Their passion and skill are evident in every aspect of their work, making them a perfect choice in exterior design.
